Forfey and Seven Summits.

That was some weekend! Forfey Music Festival provided Master & Dog with another chance to try out some of the new material on their forthcoming, self-titled album.

A great time was had by all. Forfey is consistently one of the best festivals in Northern Ireland. A true music lovers festival. Fair play to the all the crew and the Minford family for putting the whole thing on.

In other news, this Thursday sees the release of the new Seven Summits album, which was recorded and mixed by Master & Dog’s very own Phil d’Alton. Not only that, but Master & Dog will be one the bill for the night so make sure you get down and hear all the new tunage on offer! Arc Royale and Heritage Centre are also on the bill. A night not to be missed!

BBC Across the Line recorded our set at Glasgowbury Festival

New dates added!

So if you haven’t been on the gigs or facebook pages in the last while you might not have seen that we’ve added a few new live shows. We’re very pleased to announce that we’ll be playing all the best festivals on the island of Ireland this year including The Electric Picnic, Glasgowbury, Stendhal and Forfey.

But it’s not all festivals oh no! We’re also very excited about the more intimate shows booked for the coming months. Not all of these shows have been finalised yet, so don’t worry if you don’t see your town listed, we’ll get somewhere close to you soon. Just be sure to keep an eye on the gigs page.

Canada Day!

Well it may not be Canada day but Master & Dog have just released their first single from their second album and it’s called ‘Canada’!

Hi folks!!! exciting news here at the M&D camp, we have joined forces with the Canadian Label Matchless Minds for the next Album. The lads and lass are really excited to be working with such a great indie label promoting our music to new territories is something the band have always wanted, plus it means we’ll have to go further a field in support of the release!! Bring on the touring!! 🙂

Festivals Galore!

So Master & Dog have just been added to another festival lineup. 2012 will see the guys play Vantastival, Guernsey, Forfey and Stendhal Music Festivals. More dates are being added every week so keep your eyes glued to the gigs page! Here comes the summer!

Fundit finish line and a UK Tour

Thanks to everyone who pledged and spread the word to our fundit campaign. As you may, or may not know, we reached our goal and have already began the final stage of getting the album out. We couldn’t have done it without you.

In other news, Master & Dog will be heading further afield than ever this year. The UK bookings are under way so keep your eyes glued to the gigs page for more information. Drop us a line if there’s somewhere you’d like us to play that we’ve never been before. We’ve just added the London date today and there’s plenty more to come.
